After breakfast, transfer privately to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Samburu region. Watch the landscape change as the journey carries you toward northern Kenya’s dry plains and rugged hills.
Your lodge guide meets you at the airstrip selected for your accommodation and accompanies you to camp. Check in, enjoy lunch, and take time to appreciate the setting before joining an afternoon game drive.
Explore Samburu National Reserve, following tracks through acacia woodland and along the Ewaso Nyiro River. In this dry landscape, the river is an important focus for wildlife, with opportunities to observe elephants, antelope, and other animals approaching the water.
Your guide introduces the region’s distinctive species while watching for predators resting in shaded areas. Return to camp for dinner as the day’s heat gives way to a cooler evening.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airstrip for the proposed scheduled-flight journey to Lewa Downs. This sector is subject to airline confirmation for your travel dates, including any required connections.
On arrival at Lewa Downs, your lodge team welcomes you for the road transfer into Borana Conservancy. The journey introduces a different landscape of rolling hills, grassland, and wooded valleys, with opportunities to observe wildlife along the way.
Check in and enjoy lunch if arrival time permits; otherwise, take a self-sponsored lunch during transit. Spend part of the afternoon settling into your accommodation before an evening game drive if time allows.
Watch for rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and elephants as your guide introduces Borana’s conservation work. Natural waterholes and managed wildlife watering stations may provide rewarding places to pause, depending on conditions and animal movements.
Return to the lodge for dinner and your first overnight stay in Borana.

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and transferring to Lewa Downs Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport.
Your private driver meets you on arrival. Depending on your international departure time, continue to a pre-arranged hotel day room for a shower and rest, or transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
A day room and self-sponsored lunch can be arranged at an additional cost unless included in your quotation. Departure meet-and-assist services are also available on request.
The final flight plan must allow sufficient time for the road transfer between Wilson Airport and JKIA, international check-in, and a suitable connection margin. An early onward flight may require an additional Nairobi overnight.
Your journey ends at JKIA, with memories of Samburu’s riverbanks and Borana’s rhino country.
