Dining at Comfort Gardens Sweetwaters

Nest Restaurant offers breakfast and lunch buffets, with table d’hôte dinners in the evening. The menu features continental, African and Indian dishes, including vegetarian options. A live Kenyan cooking station by the pool adds a local touch.

The Poolside Restaurant serves light meals, grilled dishes, snacks and drinks outdoors, making it convenient between activities or after swimming. Kid-friendly snacks are available for families spending the day at the property.

Lion Bar offers Kenyan craft beers, wines, juices, herbal teas, Kenyan coffee and light bites. The outdoor area features patio heaters and a bonfire for cooler evenings.

Ol Pejeta and the Laikipia region

Ol Pejeta is the main safari attraction for guests at Comfort Gardens Sweetwaters. Its position near Rongai Gate makes it practical to plan half-day or full-day game drives without staying inside the conservancy.

An Ol Pejeta safari can form part of a longer Laikipia itinerary. Ngare Ndare Forest offers a different landscape, with forest walks and canopy experiences subject to conditions and booking. Lewa Conservancy and Ol Jogi are private conservancy experiences that need advance planning and are best approached with separate accommodation arrangements.

Mount Kenya adds highland scenery and hiking opportunities, while Aberdare can work as a connecting destination on longer central or northern Kenya routes. Samburu and Meru are better treated as onward destinations than additions to a short Ol Pejeta stay. A Laikipia safari itinerary can connect these destinations without rushing your hotel stay.
