Reaching Naivasha from Nairobi

The resort is on Moi South Lake Road. Transfer times vary based on whether guests arrive from Nairobi, the airport, or another safari destination. Journey durations are tailored to each itinerary.

Executive rooms, suites and larger villa stays

Enashipai Resort and Spa offers a range of accommodation layouts. Executive rooms include Wi-Fi, television, a kettle, a safe and a mini-fridge. Larger categories have separate living, dining or kitchen areas. We recommend rooms based on group size, sleeping preferences and privacy needs.

Fountain Executive Room

Main features: Approximately 60 sqm, including extra space beyond the main room, with a private balcony overlooking the signature rock fountain. Double and twin arrangements are available, and some rooms interconnect. Bathrooms include a bathtub and shower.

Suits: Couples wanting additional space and families whose children’s ages and bedding needs fit the selected configuration.

Garden Executive Room

Making time for Siyara Spa

Siyara Spa has six treatment rooms, a couples treatment room, steam rooms, hydrotherapy facilities and relaxation areas. Treatments include a signature massage, hot-stone massage and a Rasul ritual using a body scrub, mineral-rich mud and steam. Couples can book a shared treatment that combines exfoliation, a body mask, massage and a mini facial.

We schedule spa treatments to fit alongside lake excursions and meals. Spa services are usually charged separately unless included in your package.

Swimming, fitness and time outdoors

The freeform pool offers a shared space to swim, cool off after an outing and relax by the water. Guests can exercise in the indoor gym or use active spaces and lakeside zones.

A 5 km trail runs through the property, offering an on-site walking or running route. The games room and playground provide family options. Babysitting is available on request, subject to availability. Swimming, gym and games room access are complimentary for guests.

Senteu Restaurant, Entumo dining and lakeside drinks

Senteu Restaurant overlooks the pool and serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, with live cooking stations and seasonal selections. Kenyan flavours sit alongside international dishes. Where possible, the resort’s gardens supply vegetables and herbs.

Entumo Restaurant, near the conference centre, serves local and international buffet meals with indoor and outdoor seating. The Coffee Lounge offers an all-day à la carte menu, Kenyan coffee, teas and freshly baked pastries.

Oltepesi Bar and Lakeside Bar offer a variety of settings for drinks. Wave Nightclub provides evening entertainment. Our booking checks confirm whether your stay includes bed and breakfast, half-board or full-board and clarify dining arrangements and supplements. Meal plans do not include drinks.

Lake outings, culture and active experiences

A Lake Naivasha outing can include a boat safari with opportunities to see hippos, fish eagles and other waterbirds. Crescent Island offers a guided walk among animals such as giraffes and zebras, with boat transfers arranged in advance.

For active days, walking and cycling around Hell’s Gate and Crescent Island offer ways to explore the area. Additional options include horse riding, hiking and wildlife excursions to Lake Nakuru. Activities should suit your fitness, schedule and current access conditions.

The resort also arranges museum and village experiences, cultural walks and flower-farm visits. Cooking sessions, paint-and-sip activities, sundowner drinks and bonfires give guests alternatives to wildlife outings and spa appointments.

We recommend experiences based on your interests, not by filling every day with activities. 

Meetings and group events at Entumo

Entumo Conference Center combines flexible meeting rooms with a pillarless ballroom accommodating 500 delegates in theatre style, 234 in classroom style or 280 for a banquet. Smaller rooms support workshops and board meetings. Foyers provide space for receptions and networking.

Audio-visual facilities, an events team and a business centre support your programme. Our group arrangements combine accommodation, meeting layouts, catering and leisure activities for group events. Business centre services are charged separately.

Sustainability around the lake

The resort separates recyclable waste and composts organic material for gardens and farming. Rainwater harvesting and treated wastewater irrigate gardens to reduce demand on other sources. Guest rooms have reusable glass water bottles and refillable toiletry dispensers. Solar systems provide water heating and street lighting.

Environmental partnerships include work with the Lake Naivasha Riparian Association, connecting resort operations with lake conservation.

From Nairobi through Naivasha to the Mara

Diamonds Leisure Beach and Golf Resort is located on Diani Beach Road in Ukunda, Kwale County. Ukunda Airport is the nearest, typically a 10-minute drive away. A Kenya fly-in safari makes Diani a convenient coastal extension, with domestic flights from Nairobi and select safari destinations, subject to current schedules.

Mombasa serves as the main alternative gateway, with road transfers via the Dongo Kundu route. Guests arriving by SGR can continue by private road transfer. We coordinate domestic flights, private transfers and arrival arrangements as part of your itinerary.

A beachfront resort built around golf

The resort spans a 38-acre beachfront estate with tropical gardens, conference facilities and four outdoor pools. The on-site 18-hole, par-72 golf course measures about 6,084 meters and features 85 bunkers and a large lake. As part of the Diani Golf Club, the course offers a challenging experience for seasoned golfers while remaining accessible to beginners.

Golfers can enjoy on-site play while scheduling beach, pool or spa time. The annual Diani Beach Masters typically takes place in October. Golfers visiting then should request tee times in advance.

Rooms, suites and Oasis villas

Accommodation options include garden rooms, sea-view rooms, Junior Suites and Oasis Villa clusters. Oasis Villas are particularly suitable for families, friends, golf groups and multigenerational travellers, as they offer multiple private rooms around shared outdoor areas.

Golf, pools and resort facilities

Golf is central to Diamonds Leisure Beach and Golf Resort. The course features water and sand hazards for experienced players. Beginners can request private or group lessons with the golf professional, subject to availability.

We can arrange tee times, caddies, club hire and lessons before travel, subject to golf club availability. Fees for these services are charged separately.

Non-golfers and children can enjoy four freshwater outdoor pools, including a children’s pool, plus the beach, Mvua Rain Spa, fitness facilities, water-sports centre, beach volleyball and table tennis. Conference and banqueting facilities are available for meetings, incentives, celebrations and weddings.

Dining and family facilities

Board options include Premium All Inclusive, half-board and bed and breakfast, depending on your package. We confirm board basis, inclusions and dietary requirements before finalizing your itinerary.

Diani Restaurant offers buffet meals featuring international, regional, Asian and Italian cuisine, with early buffet times for children. Frangipane Pizzeria serves Italian lunch and dinner. Coral Beach Restaurant and Bar provides ocean-facing à la carte dining. Bahari Bar overlooks the ocean, and Maweni Pool Bar offers poolside drinks and snacks. The variety of venues ensures diverse dining for longer stays.

Children have access to the children’s pool, activity program, and Kids Make Your Own Pizza sessions where available.

Coastal activities and excursions

The resort serves as a base for exploring Diani’s marine and inland activities. Kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding may be included in your package. Scuba diving, kitesurfing, wing foiling and deep-sea fishing are arranged through specialist providers, usually at an additional cost. Snorkeling, reef trips, glass-bottom boat rides and Kongo River sunset outings are also available.

For shorter land-based excursions, guests can visit Colobus Conservation, Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest or Shimba Hills National Reserve, including Sheldrick Falls. Wasini Island and Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park are recommended for guests staying four or five nights, as these trips require more time.

Water activities depend on tides, weather, wind, sea conditions and provider availability. Wildlife sightings, fish catches and optimal kitesurfing are not guaranteed. We balance golf, coastal activities and downtime to ensure non-golfers and younger travellers have a manageable schedule.

Safari and coast route planning

Diani is a suitable extension after visiting Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Amboseli or the Maasai Mara. Tsavo East offers the most direct overland connection via Bachuma Gate, subject to traffic and road conditions.

For instance, a 3-Day Tsavo East Safari gives travellers time for multiple game drives before continuing to Diani. Golfers can schedule tee times and practice sessions, while other guests enjoy the beach, pools, spa and coastal excursions. This creates a comprehensive safari, golf and beach holiday.

Longer itineraries can include Tsavo West or Amboseli, and domestic flights may connect Diani with Nairobi and select safari circuits. We tailor each route to your safari priorities, golf plans and transfer preferences.

Game drives do not operate from the resort. Shimba Hills is a separate reserve near Diani and is better considered as a coastal day excursion.

• Request tee times early for popular dates, especially during the Diani Beach Masters. Green fees, caddies, club hire and lessons are usually not included in accommodation.
