4-Day Maasai Mara Safari from Nairobi

Your driver-guide will meet you at your Nairobi hotel or the airport, and you will set off for the Maasai Mara. You will travel through the Great Rift Valley, stopping to take in the views, then continue through Narok to the reserve. Once you arrive at your camp or lodge, check in and head out for an afternoon game drive before dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will head into the reserve for a full day of wildlife viewing. Your guide will track the animals, looking for big cats, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelope, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your game drive. If you like, you can add a sunrise hot-air balloon ride or visit a Maasai village for an extra fee. In the evening, return to camp for dinner and some time to relax.

Spend another full day exploring new areas of the reserve. Having this extra day is a big plus, as it gives you more chances for relaxed wildlife sightings and great photos. If you prefer, you can also take it easy at your hotel instead of joining another game drive.

After your breakfast, check out and start your drive back to Nairobi. Depending on your schedule, you might have time for one last short wildlife viewing. You will pass through Narok and the Great Rift Valley before arriving in Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport for your onward international flight.
