3-Day Maasai Mara Safari from Nairobi

The journey starts early when we leave Nairobi and drive southward through the spectacular Great Rift Valley. On this drive you get the chance to see the dramatic changes in the landscape before we reach the entrance to the reserve by mid-afternoon. Once you have settled at your lodge or camp, why not take a game drive in the late afternoon? This will be your first opportunity to search the grasslands for lions, elephants and leopards as the sun shines a golden colour over the plains.

This will be the highlight of your three-day Maasai Mara safari. Since one full day is allocated to the reserve, we go deep into the heart of the Mara. To avoid the midday heat, we plan our journey so that you are in the best position when the wildlife is most active. Whether it's the rolling savannahs or the riverbanks where crocodiles are waiting, you'll get a real sense of the extent of the ecosystem. We pack a picnic lunch so we can stay in the field and enjoy unique wildlife sightings.

After breakfast, we start the drive back to Nairobi and arrive late in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
